Dubai Launches Groundbreaking One Freezone Passport to Attract Global Business Giants

Dubai has unveiled a major business-friendly reform with the launch of the One Freezone Passport, an initiative spearheaded by the Dubai Free Zones Council (DFZC). The new scheme enables companies to seamlessly operate across multiple free zones within the emirate under a single license—cutting red tape and speeding up expansion efforts.

This bold step aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which seeks to double the size of the city’s economy and elevate its global standing as a top-tier business hub.

Luxury fashion leader Louis Vuitton is the first major name to capitalize on the initiative. The brand has retained its logistics base at Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) while opening a corporate office at One Za’abeel in the DWTC Free Zone—all under one license issued in just five days.

Senior officials from DFZC, DWTC, and JAFZA hailed the move as a milestone in regulatory innovation, underscoring Dubai’s commitment to offering world-class infrastructure, speed, and operational flexibility for international businesses.
