Visa is strengthening its commitment to supporting women entrepreneurs in Egypt through the expansion of its global She’s Next initiative, in collaboration with Shark Tank Egypt and CIB Business Banking. The partnership aims to create new opportunities for female founders by providing greater access to funding, mentorship, and business development resources.
As part of the initiative, dedicated episodes of Shark Tank Egypt will spotlight women-led businesses, showcasing innovative startups and connecting entrepreneurs with experienced investors and industry experts. These episodes are designed to increase visibility for female founders while helping them accelerate the growth of their ventures.
Further reinforcing Visa’s commitment to the program, Malak El Baba, Vice President and Country Manager for Visa in Egypt, Libya, and Sudan, will join the She’s Next initiative panel, bringing her expertise and leadership to support and mentor participating entrepreneurs throughout the program.
The expansion of She’s Next comes as recent Visa research highlights the increasing impact of women-owned businesses in Egypt. The findings reveal that female entrepreneurs are rapidly adopting artificial intelligence, data analytics, and digital technologies to enhance operations, improve decision-making, and drive business growth. This trend underscores the vital role women are playing in shaping Egypt’s digital economy.
Through She’s Next, Visa continues to provide entrepreneurs with access to training, mentorship, networking opportunities, and practical tools needed to scale their businesses in an increasingly competitive market. By partnering with leading organizations such as CIB and Shark Tank Egypt, Visa is helping foster a more inclusive and dynamic entrepreneurial landscape.
The initiative reflects Visa’s broader vision of advancing financial inclusion, accelerating digital transformation, and empowering the next generation of business leaders across Egypt and the wider region.
