Dr. Thani Al Zeyoudi leads UAE trade mission to deepen economic ties with Argentina

Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, has led a high-level Emirati delegation to Argentina as part of the UAE Trade Days initiative, reinforcing the country’s efforts to expand economic partnerships across Latin America.

During the visit, Al Zeyoudi met with senior Argentine government officials, private sector leaders and investors to explore new opportunities for trade, investment and long-term economic cooperation. Discussions focused on strengthening collaboration in technology, renewable energy, logistics and other strategic industries while encouraging greater private sector participation in bilateral projects.

The UAE delegation also held meetings with Argentina’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship, alongside representatives from the wider business community, highlighting both countries’ commitment to expanding commercial ties and facilitating cross-border investment.

A business roundtable brought together companies and investors from both nations to identify new investment opportunities, enhance trade flows and support sustainable economic growth through stronger public-private partnerships.

The visit reflects the UAE’s broader strategy of diversifying its global trade network and strengthening economic engagement with high-growth international markets, while positioning the private sector as a key driver of investment, innovation and long-term prosperity.
