Sheikh Hamdan Launches ‘UAE Future 50’ to Power Next-Gen Emirati Startups

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, launched the ‘UAE Future 50’ initiative to spotlight 50 innovative Emirati-led startups across 15 high-growth sectors, including fintech, space, healthtech, sustainability, and smart mobility.

Developed by the Government Development and the Future Office in partnership with the Ministry of Economy, the initiative is part of the broader Riyada ecosystem, aiming to accelerate the UAE’s innovation-driven economy.

The launch event gathered top ministers, investors, entrepreneurs, and ecosystem leaders, showcasing the selected ventures and celebrating their role in shaping the UAE’s future economy.

Sheikh Hamdan emphasized the government’s commitment to empowering youth and entrepreneurs, aligning with the ‘We the UAE 2031’ vision to diversify the economy and boost global competitiveness.

The initiative builds on the success of the ‘Future 100’, with a continued focus on fostering national talent, supporting high-potential startups, and reinforcing the UAE’s leadership in future-ready industries.

Featured companies will receive strategic support to scale, inspire the next generation, and drive sustainable growth.
