Sharjah Ruler Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi lays the foundation stone for Abu Al Kizan Village project in Khor Fakkan.

Sharjah Ruler High Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi laid the foundation stone on Thursday morning for the Abu Al Kizan Marine Village project in the city of Khor Fakkan. The project aligns with his vision to develop tourism and urban projects while enhancing quality of life across the emirate.

His Highness Sheikh Sultan reviewed the project’s designs, which span 7 million square feet and are inspired by famous Italian coastal villages. The architecture blends traditional Ligurian style with Islamic elements, featuring colorful terraced buildings overlooking a naturally carved small marina and offering panoramic sea views.

The project includes green spaces, a central boulevard, a beach, pedestrian pathways, and an integrated road network. It will feature 201 plots for 285 buildings, including residential units, villas, mixed-use buildings, commercial and office spaces, a hotel, and a mosque.

The development is designed with environmental sustainability in mind, preserving marine ecosystems and biodiversity.

The project aims to establish a sustainable tourism and residential destination that enhances Sharjah’s position as a leading investment and tourism hub.
