The United Arab Emirates has announced a travel ban on its citizens to Iran, Lebanon, and Iraq, citing ongoing regional developments and security concerns. The decision was issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of Emirati nationals.
Under the new directive, UAE nationals are prohibited from traveling to the three countries until further notice. Authorities have also urged Emiratis currently in Iran, Lebanon, and Iraq to leave immediately and return home, while encouraging them to stay in contact with the ministry for assistance.
The move comes amid heightened geopolitical tensions across the Middle East, including ongoing conflicts and instability affecting multiple countries in the region. Officials emphasized that the ban is part of broader efforts to monitor risks and safeguard citizens abroad.
The UAE government continues to advise all citizens to follow official travel guidelines and remain updated through official channels as the situation evolves.
