UAE Residents Exchange Eid Al Adha Greetings, Offer Prayers in Unity

As the sun rose over the UAE, residents gathered in mosques and open prayer grounds to mark Eid Al Adha with heartfelt prayers and greetings. The annual Islamic festival, known as the “Festival of Sacrifice,” was observed in an atmosphere of peace, reflection, and unity.

In the early morning, men, women, and children dressed in traditional attire joined together for special Eid prayers across the Emirates. From Abu Dhabi to Ras Al Khaimah, the spirit of togetherness was palpable as people exchanged warm wishes of “Eid Mubarak.”

Many families also took the time to share meals and distribute meat to the less fortunate, honoring the legacy of Prophet Ibrahim’s devotion and sacrifice. Local authorities ensured smooth traffic flow and safety at major prayer venues, while community centers hosted cultural events throughout the day.

Eid Al Adha continues to highlight the UAE’s strong values of tolerance, generosity, and multicultural harmony — a true reflection of the nation’s diverse yet unified population.
