UAE launches Companies for Good 2031 Strategy to accelerate sustainable business impact

UAE has introduced the UAE Companies for Good 2031 Strategy, a nationwide framework designed to expand private sector participation in sustainability, strengthen the country’s impact economy, and advance corporate responsibility. The initiative was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan during an event hosted by Majra – National CSR Fund at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi.

The strategy encourages stronger collaboration between government entities, businesses, academic institutions, and civil society to deliver measurable social, environmental, and economic outcomes aligned with the UAE’s long-term development agenda.

During the event, Majra also announced the winners of the Impact Seal 2025–2027, the UAE’s highest federal recognition for corporate social responsibility and sustainability performance. Organisations were recognised across Platinum, Gold, and Silver tiers based on their achievements in environmental, social, and governance ESG practices and contributions to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Among the Platinum recipients were ADNOC, TAQA, DP World, The Emirates Group, Majid Al Futtaim, RAK Ceramics, and several SMEs and academic institutions demonstrating exceptional sustainability leadership.

A total of 114 organisations were recognised from 160 applications, highlighting the UAE’s growing commitment to measurable impact, responsible business practices, and building a globally competitive, sustainability-driven economy.
