Abu Dhabi’s Hub71 and Google have partnered to launch the Google for Startups Accelerator, a three-month programme designed to fast-track early-stage AI startups based in Hub71+ AI — the ecosystem’s dedicated AI vertical. This initiative reinforces Abu Dhabi’s ambition to position itself as a global hub for AI innovation.
A total of 26 startups from the Hub71 community have joined the inaugural cohort, gaining access to Google’s global network of mentors, engineers, and product leaders. Participants will benefit from cloud credits, with top performers eligible for up to $300,000 in support — the highest tier globally — alongside potential GCP ecosystem allocations.
These startups have already received up to AED 500,000 in support, including cash investment and in-kind services. Now, with Google’s accelerator, they are set to scale their solutions globally through advanced technical support and access to funding networks.
This move follows a 2024 agreement between Google and Hub71 and marks a significant step in advancing Abu Dhabi’s AI ecosystem — fostering innovation, cross-border collaboration, and global impact from the heart of the UAE.
