His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum recently held talks with Hiroyuki Ogawa to discuss expanding economic cooperation and investment opportunities between Dubai and Japanese businesses.

The meeting focused on the UAE’s continued rise as a global destination for investment, driven by its modern infrastructure, pro-business policies, and diversified economy. Officials highlighted how Dubai’s integrated economic environment continues to attract international companies across sectors including real estate, logistics, hospitality, healthcare, and technology.

Discussions also emphasized Dubai’s growing appeal for long-term investors seeking access to regional and global markets. Its strategic geographic position, strong connectivity, and flexible regulatory system were cited as key advantages supporting international expansion.

During the meeting, Sheikh Maktoum reaffirmed Dubai’s commitment to building global partnerships aligned with the emirate’s long-term economic ambitions. Both sides also explored potential collaborations in digital economy initiatives, innovation-led industries, and advanced technologies aimed at reinforcing Dubai’s status as a leading international business and technology hub.

Senior UAE officials attending the meeting included representatives from the Ministry of Finance, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Development Authority, and the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism.
