His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan attended the opening of the fifth edition of Make it in the Emirates, held from May 4 to 7 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, underscoring the UAE’s continued push to strengthen its industrial sector.
Organized by ADNEC Group in collaboration with leading government and industry stakeholders, the event—held under the theme “Advanced Industry. Emerging Stronger.”—brings together senior officials, investors, entrepreneurs, and innovators from across the region and globally.
During his tour, Sheikh Mansour reviewed a range of advanced technologies, including AI-driven solutions, and was briefed on key national initiatives focused on enhancing supply chains, increasing competitiveness, and empowering Emirati talent. The platform also aligns with the UAE’s broader strategic goals, including We the UAE 2031 and the UAE Centennial 2071.
Recognized as the region’s largest industrial gathering, Make it in the Emirates continues to play a vital role in accelerating economic diversification and strengthening public-private partnerships. The event showcases opportunities across advanced manufacturing, robotics, and sustainable industries, while enabling startups and SMEs to access funding, partnerships, and growth opportunities.
On the sidelines, Sheikh Mansour also met with Omani officials to discuss strengthening bilateral economic cooperation.
This year’s edition highlights the UAE’s ambition to position itself as a global hub for advanced industry, supported by major procurement opportunities and a growing focus on innovation.
