Emirates has signed a new interline agreement with Loong Air, expanding its presence in China and giving customers access to more domestic destinations beyond its current network.
Under the agreement, Emirates passengers can now connect to 22 cities across China through Loong Air’s network via Hangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong. These destinations cover key regions across East, Northeast, South, Central, and Southwest China, improving travel options for both leisure and business travellers.
The partnership allows customers to book multi-airline journeys with a single ticket, enjoy seamless baggage handling, and benefit from consistent fare conditions throughout their trip. This enhanced connectivity offers easier access to major domestic hubs, including Zhengzhou, Changchun, Haikou, Xiangyang, and Dazhou.
Tickets are available through emirates.com, online travel agencies, and major global distribution systems. Customers booking on Emirates’ website can also use convenient payment methods such as WeChat Pay and Alipay.
The agreement supports Emirates’ long-term commitment to the Chinese market. In recent years, the airline has launched flights to Shenzhen and Hangzhou, introduced its award-winning Premium Economy product on these routes, and resumed A380 services to Shanghai.
Emirates has been operating in mainland China since 2004 and currently serves five major cities (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hangzhou) with 49 weekly flights using a mix of A380, A350, and Boeing 777 aircraft. Through partnerships with Loong Air, Air China, China Southern Airlines, and Sichuan Airlines, Emirates now provides access to more than 110 additional destinations across China.
