His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, welcomed His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Abu Dhabi during a fraternal visit focused on strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing coordination on regional developments.
The two leaders discussed opportunities to expand cooperation across economic and development sectors in support of shared growth priorities and long-term prosperity for both nations. They also reviewed the latest regional developments and their impact on regional and international security and stability.
President El-Sisi reaffirmed Egypt’s solidarity with the UAE in confronting security challenges, stressing Cairo’s support for all measures aimed at safeguarding the UAE’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, and His Highness Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, alongside senior officials from both countries.
The visit also included a joint inspection of the Egyptian fighter jet detachment stationed in the UAE as part of ongoing defence cooperation between the two nations.
