Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, held a phone conversation with Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, to discuss the latest regional developments following Iran’s recent retaliatory strikes affecting parts of the Gulf.
According to Emirates News Agency (WAM), the two leaders reviewed the evolving security landscape and exchanged views on the broader implications of the escalating tensions across the region. During the call, both leaders reaffirmed their solidarity with Gulf nations and emphasized the importance of safeguarding regional stability.
The discussion also focused on the need to prevent further escalation. The Saudi Crown Prince and the UAE President stressed that the current situation requires restraint and renewed diplomatic engagement to avoid widening the conflict.
