The United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Morocco have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of human rights and enhancing institutional collaboration between the two countries.

The agreement was signed by Her Excellency Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, UAE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Mohamed El Habib Belkouch, Morocco’s Ministerial Delegate for Human Rights.

The MoU seeks to reinforce cooperation through the exchange of expertise, joint training programs, research initiatives, conferences, and knowledge-sharing activities related to the promotion and protection of human rights.

Both sides emphasized the importance of developing effective partnership mechanisms and supporting national institutions responsible for the implementation, reporting, and follow-up of human rights commitments.

The signing reflects the strong and growing relationship between the UAE and Morocco and highlights their shared commitment to advancing human rights, institutional development, and international cooperation.
